Investing in Real Estate: Avida Land’s New Project in Tagaytay

Today, the Philippine economy is booming that we were already labeled by prominent international personalities as rising tiger of Asia. We obviously see on-going constructions of buildings and residences everywhere. This is one of the indicators that the economy is really strong. It is now the best time to invest in real estate.
Incidentally, I was one of the few people who were invited by Avida Land to take an advance peek of their new vacation home development in Tagaytay. I was instructed to proceed to their showroom in Alabang Town Center and was surprised to see familiar faces – yes, bloggers that I usually see only online. We were met by Avida’s marketing staff, introduce themselves briefly and proceed immediately with their short audio-visual presentation.
To give you a brief history, Avida Land was borne out of Ayala Land’s desire to bring affordable living at its best to the greatest number of Filipinos. After two decades of fulfilling dreams and 60 projects in 28 locations, Avida still provides the best community with the security and assurance of a healthy environment, keeping in mind its primary goal of creating “dream” shelters that enhance the quality of family life.
Currently, Avida Land is in the process of constructing condominium units that can be considered as vacation home in the heart of one of the tourist spot in South Luzon – Tagaytay! With its cool climate and great scenery, Tagaytay is now the primary considerations of people planning for dream homes as well as investors too.
This new project is called Asilo Tagaytay derived from Tagalog word “silong” or to take shelter. After the audio-visual presentation, we were toured around the showroom to show us the scale model of the Asilo project and its “dress-up” units. These gave us an idea on how the units can be designed. The prices are reasonable for the size of the units considering the location and its numerous amenities that include – a mall, where mostly local Tagaytay products can be widely available.
After the orientation, we were brought on-site, the location where the project will be constructed. The location is easily accessible from Metro Manila via SLEX. Given its prime spot, establishments like schools, hospitals, and churches are just minutes away.
Asilo Tagaytay is also a prime choice for those who wish to invest in a place to lease , with the help of Leasing Services by Avida. Like all Ayala and Avida properties, the project promotes sustainable living in harmony with the environment. It will also managed and maintained by the Ayala Property Management Corporation. This guarantees residents that the property remains in top shape.
Along the way, we made a brief stop-over at Ming’s Garden (yes, the former first lady) and at Breakfast at Antonio’s to take our brunch. We also went to the Puzzle Mansion and met the lady who was awarded by Guinness World Record for her largest collection of puzzles. Then lastly, we took a rest and some snacks at the Cliffhouse where you can see the panoramic view of Taal Lake and Volcano. Then we proceeded back at the Alabang Town Center showroom where they drop me off.
The whole tour is quite relaxing actually, meeting blogger people personally, touring Tagaytay and of course, lot’s of eating along the way!
