Dear All

We have been since quite some time studying into the possibilities of importing and starting Pangasius culture in Sindh Pakistan and are pleased to note that after a study some 5 years ago they found that it is “LOW RISK” to the environment in case it escaped to our
(a) our other connected production ponds where poly culture of India and Chinese carps Rahu, Thala, Mori,Grass carp, Silver carp and Common carp is being done.
(b)or our waterways and that pangasius will not mess up the balance of our Local species major carps i.e.Rahu, Thala, Mori and others sweet water
fishes ?

Which are the countries who have recently introduced the above fish besides Bangladesh? also where can i go through the (BFAR) Environmental Risk Assessment Study on the impact of Pangasius made 5 years ago? this study is very important to go through by all interested importers wanting to start Pangas commercial farming.

regards,
