Free Livelihood Training and Seminar at PTTC
May 5, 2009 by Leo 6,074 Views
The globalization of business, the speed of new technologies in business, and the significance of MSMEs in economic development have prompted Philippine Trade Training Center (PTTC) to offer new programs and value-added services, such as post-training counselling and customized in-company training. With these programs and services, PTTC hopes to satisfy clients and stakeholders in both the private business sector and the government agencies involved in promoting and supporting business efficiency.
Encouraged by the successful turn-out of participants in its initial free seminar on livelihood held last April 25th, the next seminar at PTTC to be held on May 23, 2009 will deal with the following topics:
- How to Start a Business
- Basic Costing and Pricing
- Basic Business Recording
- Basic Webpage Design
- Distributorship/Dealership
- Food Safety
- Salon Management
- Hair Cutting
- Meat Processing
- No Bake Cakes
- Commercial Baking
- Picture Framing
- Beadworks
- Fruit Processing
- Vegetable Processing
- Laundry Soap Making
- Scent and Fragrances
This offer is a first-come-first-serve basis, so come early.
PTTC expects more participants to come to learn skills needed in starting their own small businesses. After the scheduled May 23rd seminar, another is scheduled on June 13, 2009.

Since I registered into ENTREPINOYS I have gained alot in terms of enriching my vision of “investing in self employment” as an Investor, and in particular capital markets for agriculture(investment)development.
Please advise me whether it is possible to partner with ENTREPINOYS to build capacity for a resource centre Iam establishing on the outskirts of Nairobi, Kenya, for practical farming (household) investment and enterprise modelling and development.
Gud Day!
How I wish that there will be seminars conducted here in Davao City like those kind of seminars mentioned above so that I can share it also with my students in Technology and Livelihood Education(T.L.E.)subject in High School.
Thanks for the info Sir Leo. BTW, congrats to your site’s new layout.
@keiko, thanks! actually the previous theme (free) stopped working when my site crashed, and i was forced to use this new premium (paid) theme for tech support in case i experienced the nightmare again.
