Filipino creativity and entrepreneurial spirit takes center stage once more as the Department of Agrarian Reform’s Bureau of Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Development (BARBD) and ARB Agribusiness Entrepreneurship Development Program (AREDP), in partnership with the Philippine Fruit and Vegetables Industries, mount the 8th Agraryo Trade Fair from June 3 to 7 at the SM Megatrade Hall, Summit, 5/F Mega B, SM Megamall, EDSA cor. With the theme “Enterprising Agrarian Reform Communities: Creating Jobs, Empowering Farmers and Ensuring Food Safety”, the trade fair will be showing the various produce of the agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs) from all over the country to showcase their creativity and entrepreneurial spirit.

The most impressive products of our ARBs includes fresh and processed poultry and meat products, food ingredients and additives, beverages, vegetable products, delicacies, jams, candles, packaging materials, furniture, native handicrafts, novelty items and organic products, among others.

This year, the organizers will also launch the Festival of Communities, a series of competitions that will showcase the benefits of the Agrarian Reform Communities, using the arts as medium.

Included in the line-up are video documentary showing and on-the-spot poster making competition.

There will also be a host of special events such as market/investment matching session, cooking demonstrations, photo exhibits of DAR’s programs and projects, and seminars on product development and market trends.

This will also be an opportunity to network with manufacturers and get the best quality products at whole sale prices.
