Any substance that is made from a mixture of natural oils and fats with an alkali is considered as soap. Soap is a surface-active agent generally used for washing. Washing, because soap is basically ineffective without water. The use of soap (or any natural soap-cleaning agents) has always been associated with man’s inherent instinct to keep his body, his clothes, and various other washable belongings clean.
Soap making started in the 18th century by boiling a crude mixture of animal fat, lye from wood ash, and salt until it became sticky and hard.

Ay naku! nakakasawa na ang Do-it-Yourself, pareho lang yan nuong dating. Iniba lang ang pangalan. La ring kwenta ang producto. Net working style pa. Para lang kaming ahente na nagbebenta ng producto nila. Kaya nga ako, nag aral na lang ako. Kahit may byad sulit naman. Producto ko pa ang ibinebenta ko. LUmang uso na yang Do-it- yourself. Madami ng naloko dyan.

Sir i dont conduct seminar but i do have 7yrs experience in soap making as production leadman though you dont need to have a background in chemistry as long as you know the basic,but in my case,may nilalagay talaga ako to make my whitening soap effective not just the basic knowledge in soap

hi niko,i have been in soap making for so many years being in production & now self-employed also in soap making especially papaya soap. i always follow the 1 is to 2 ratio meaning 1 kilo of caustic for 2 kilo of water, so kung 1liter lang ang kailangan mo na solution o.k lang may matira you can still use it.
but the catch there is still you have to measure the concentration level of the sulotion which is tricky.
