The OWWA came out with the Filipino Expatriate Livelihood Support Fund (FELSF) as safety net for their displacement due to the global financial crisis. After OFWs have availed of assistance from the National Reintegration Center for OFWs (NRCO) for the initial assistance package, any interested OFW may avail of the FELSF, which offers a Non-collateral Loan Window where the displaced OFWs can loan up to fifty thousand pesos (Php50,000.00) with a very low interest of five percent (5%) per annum, payable in 24 months. Government banks can also extend loans through their collateral windows if worker decides to expand his business enterprise.
For program details, workers may contact the NRCO at telephone numbers 528-0848 and the DOLE at 527-8000 or at any of the regional welfare offices (RWO) of the OWWA (www.owwa.gov.ph).

hello po. 1992 pa po akong tumigil sa pagiging ofw pero may card po ako ng owwa. tanong ko lang magagamit ko pa kaya ito at paano ako maka-avail sa livelihood program ninyo.sana matulungan n’yo ako kasi talagang mapaka-scarce talaga ng kita naming mag-asawa. gusto ko mang bumalik uli pero 44 y/o na po ako, kung meron man pero sobrang liit ng offer halos kinikita lang namin dito. tanong ko lang po, qualified pa kaya ako, saan at papaano maka-avail?

I am a member of OWWA and unfortunately is an amputee, above the knee, right leg. I wish to avail of the National Reintegration Program, loan, from your good office. I already attended the orientation seminar conducted last Dec. 15, 2011 at the OWWA Main Office in Pasay City. I have all necessary documentary requirement but the only requirement I do not have is the Certificate of Seminar for EDT. I had been inquiring re schedule of your EDT seminar thru internet but until now, I do not have the schedule.
I am residing here in Mamburao, Occidental Mindoro, and it is very hard for me to travel to Manila. Please help me to have the schedules date and venue of the EDT Seminar from this month August 2012 onward, so I could have ample time to raise my travel budget from MIndoro to and from Manila.
