     To give an extra kick to my &quot;Cassava Cake Ala Mercy,&quot; I put bottled or canned jackfruit or langka, I either cut them ( the one in cans) or shred them lenghtwise, (packed in bottles with sugar syrup).  I even combine the langka/jackfruit sugar syrup to the entire mixture.  It gives extra sweetness and the scent of the jackfruit.  If you donot want for the cake to be too sweet, lessen the amount of table/white sugar you&#039;re mixing with the recipe since your incorporating the sugar syrup from the jackfruit.</description>
