I am wondering if we have other substitute for sodium benzoate. There is a write-up in this site http://www.wisegeek.com/what-is-sodium-benzoate.htm that it is not good to add it with food that with citric acid in it.

shelf life of fruit juices is 2 months…. pero it depends on how it is packed and what chemical used… do you have any idea where to find chemical store selling xanthan gum, sodium benzoate and citric acid.?

can you plz. send me an information on where to find a chemical store here in lipa city selling xanthan gum, sodium benzoate and citric acid? i have pouch, i have flavorings and sealer but only chemical is the problem for me to really start the business.. its really very difficult for me to find that special chemical for fruit juice preservation….
