1st Pinoy Aquatic Expo (Food & Technology) set August 29-31, 2008 at the AANI Herbal Garden and Livelihood Center, Quezon Memorial Circle, Quezon City. Themed “Sustaining the development and growth of Aquaculture through the Application of Cost- Efficient Farming Technologies as an Answer to the Future National Food Security”, the event is going to be unique as it will present all services and products of the Philippine Fishing and Aquatic industries, from sources of raw materials to manufacturing equipment and the latest technologies in breeding, catching, harvesting, post harvest and processing.

An Opening of the Palengke Paluto Seafood Market and Kiosks will highlight the event for the public to enjoy food and fish dishes. Free lectures on the Business Opportunities for all types of fish farming will be conducted by respected individuals in the industry, set up of a Buyers-Sellers Market Matching venue, a collection of fish varieties for public viewing, cooking contests and demos and competitions such as “Best Technologies in Fish Farming 2008, The Best Aquatic Booth Design 2008 and The Pinoy Fish Menu 2008″.
