Yes, Tilapia will grow in cement tanks.  The design of your water supply and drainage should be good.  You will also have to put up an aeration system and possibly a filtration system to save on water and maintain good water quality at all times. The stocking density will depend on how efficient your aeration system.  With very good aeration system, you can stock as much as 150/m3. It will take 5 months for you to harvest in this system

It will not be worth your while to stock in drums as what BFAR recommends. I have not heard of anyone successful in this system  including BFAR themselves.</description>
