Hi Malou, be very cautious when online jobs is asking for money. Search the internet first for the said company before you commit yourself. You have to be very careful when dealing online because there are a lot of scams going on nowadays.

Hi Leo and Geri, thanks for the info.

Many advertised data entry jobs are scams or would require too much effort to really earn decent money from. To look for real data entry jobs, I’d recommend bidding for these projects over at freelance marketplaces like Guru.com, Elance.com and oDesk.com.
Those places are where I find most of my data entry projects.

Meron akong dadag: here is my post for this in my blog: http://mocssasaudi.blogspot.co.....-blog.html
“I joined Smorty a few weeks back. There is always an assigment for me to blog, and I get paid for handsomely for each post ranging from 6.00 to 20 dollars. I, of course, choose posts that somehow are related to this blog. Below is a screen shot of how much I earned since last month, this excludes my pending payment of nearly 80 dollars just for this month. So if you are interested to earn money for your blog, check Smorty Now!”
To join Smorty, here is the link:

Hello everyone! i have been a victim of a online job scam (typeinternational) and for those asking regarding online work, please be very cautious especially with links like this: http://www.xxx.com/?B=#### The “####” is a control number and may be used as a referral number, so that the referrer will earn extra cash once they have enrolled you to their program. So be very careful, it is somewhat like pyramid scamming. I mean, hello! what kind of business would expand with you just posting their ad over and over again and dodging spam policies, etc.
November 15th, 2007 at 7:27 am

@azzy, paypal is already available in the philippines since october 2007. get a unionbank EON-card for your paypal application, annual fee is P350. apply it online https://www.unionbankph.com/content.asp?paramID=AMBKADAIBA

I am interested with smorty. I dont know how to register with Paypal. When I tried to register dalawa yung option dun. Can anybody tell me what option i should use? thanks
January 16th, 2008 at 7:02 pm
uhmm,, am i allowed to speak filipino here? pano po pag merong account sa paypal pero unverified? nag-ppay pa po ba sila dun? kahit unverified?
January 16th, 2008 at 9:20 pm
Hi erica. if your paypal account is unverified, you can still receive money and transfer or send your money to other paypal account BUT you CANNOT withdraw or encash your money.
Withdrawing your funds from PayPal can be done only through banks/ATM. so if your paypal is unverified it means that you have not attached any ATM or credit card yet.
January 18th, 2008 at 2:44 pm
just wanna ask is there anybody here that is currently emlployed or working in a home-based online work? just wanna ask if it is really true or just a scam just like other?
thank you. god bless
January 18th, 2008 at 9:40 pm
@potpot, accepting jobs offered online is not 100% scam-free, you really have to deal with them cautiously. ask them questions and do your own research as well. negotiate as much as possible with your own reasonable terms.

Hello guys.. I have just started blogging (seriously), I am wondering how would I be able t advertise my blog. ALso, how would be my blog be included in the results of search engines?
Please help. I want to add my blog in smorty and payperpost…
thanks !

February 3rd, 2008 at 7:13 pm
ferdinand: there are certain requirements for blogs before they are accepted in smorty and payperpost. both sites require your blog to be at least 3 moths old. they accept blogger account but they do not accept wordpress accounts.
another tip: the higher your PR rank, the better since you get the chance to receive more opportunities.
re paypal: you can now directly withdraw money through local Phil. banks, you just have to enroll your card. charge is P50 for less than P7000 withdrawal.
February 7th, 2008 at 3:03 am
Thank you for the very useful information.

@kia, just go to http://www.smorty.com and register your blog, then wait for a few days of approval. i’m not sure with free yahoo url, though you can get a blog account from blogger.com or wordpress.org, and update your blog regularly for better chances of approval.
March 4th, 2008 at 2:21 pm
Hi i just wonder why do we need to have a credit card to have this kind of job and are the salary on dollar basis…and how can i make sure that this things are for real. Because I really need a part time job but i dont want any initial fee.
March 4th, 2008 at 3:57 pm
@lea, if you want to be paid via paypal, their primary requirement to register is a credit card. eon card from unionbank is also accepted. getting one is very easy, no requirements needed, just pay P350 annual fee.
March 4th, 2008 at 10:57 pm

March 5th, 2008 at 5:03 pm

March 12th, 2008 at 8:26 am
@pearl, any blog is accepted by smorty provided that your blog meets the minimum requirements, just read smorty’s TOS. apply eon card online and just bring your ID and P450 (P350 annual payment and P100 initial deposit) at unionbank to claim it.
March 13th, 2008 at 12:37 am
ask ko lang accepted ba yun frienndster blog sa smorty…?…at may payment ba yun s smorty…curious me talaga…tnx.
March 13th, 2008 at 1:08 am
@pearl, i’m not sure, maybe you can try submitting your friendster blog to smorty and let see. the minimum payment is $6 for 50-150 words (1 to 2 short paragraphs) review. payment is made every 5 days. i suggest you transfer your blog to blogspot.com free-hosted blog, or if you seriously want to pursue your career as a professional bogger, get your own domain.
March 15th, 2008 at 4:22 pm
is that domain is free or monthly subs?……………….sorry if nakakaistorbo na….
March 15th, 2008 at 9:58 pm
@pearl, it’s free. just go to http://www.blogger.com to register an account.
March 18th, 2008 at 1:44 am
Good am. I want to ask advise about AffiliateJunktion.com. Is it really 100% free and not another online scam. Thank you very much.
March 22nd, 2008 at 12:48 pm
I only trust http://www.odesk.com for outsourced jobs. The competition is quite tight but I get a few jobs and I really get paid.
Regarding PayPal. If you made an initial deposit to your Eon Card you can be a verified user. The next step is to apply for an expanded use number so that you can withdraw your funds from Paypal to unionbank. The downside? Trying to reach their representatives through phone, be prepared to redial and redial… it will take a week for your card’s expanded use number to be verified. Funds transferred from PayPal took 5 working days for completion…
March 28th, 2008 at 9:09 pm
Leo:
I would like to know what are the jobs you took from http://www.odesk.com. I am really interested. I want to have an online job where I can earn extra income aside.

i’m just curious sa lahat ng mga nag inquire regarding online jobs… how’d it turned out? and to Mr.leo, can u give me advice regarding online jobs what should i look out for…. thank you
March 29th, 2008 at 7:17 pm
@marsha, i haven’t accepted any jobs yet though they sent job projects every now and then to my email. you can also ask Lee, the one who left a comment here regarding his experience with odesk.com
@rachel, try to register at odesk.com, and browse through the online jobs offered.
@jeona, can’t advice you much regarding online jobs since i don’t have first hand experience yet, just be careful when accepting online jobs and do a little bit of research before committing.
April 1st, 2008 at 8:29 pm
Hi! I was reading through some of your comments here and I found that like me, you’re all looking for a part time job. I’m currently working as a webreview writer for another person who is paid so much higher than my article’s worth. But they’re very nice so I guess its ok.
Anyway, I was looking through sites and we can become bloggers who are paid to blog. Unfortunately, we need to have a network of readers so we will have higher page rank for google. Aside from this there are other technologies involved which i can’t begin to understand. :) if you are currently working on SEO, please please please help! :)

In order to get the best paying legitimate data entry jobs, you need to have or develop good typing skills, knowledge of word-processing, spreadsheet and other commonly used computer programs.
This site offers a FREE book “Free Data Entry Secrets”. It describes the basic concepts of the data entry market.

May 9th, 2008 at 12:36 pm
leo does it require a lot of html editing on smorty? coz im not really good at those stuffs and one blog site pisses me off coz i cant beautify my blog coz html thing gets too complicated
May 9th, 2008 at 1:03 pm
@cams, no html experience necessary when doing smorty job reviews. all you have to do is put outbound link to the reviewed site that’s all, and if you’re using blogspot or wordpress, it’s not a problem because both are user friendly, and requires only a single click to put a link.
May 12th, 2008 at 12:21 pm

Hello guys. If writing is your passion try Academia Research. They pay via Paypal too. What you really need is just good writing skills and good customer interactions. The lowest they pay is $4/page. I’ve been working for this company for almost three months now and they really pay for the hard work.
