Merienda is a Spanish word that refers to a light meal usually taken in between lunch and dinner. The Spaniards introduced this kind of repast to the Filipinos who adopted the habit later on. From then on, the Filipino merienda became an equivalent of the American coffee break or the English afternoon tea.

    Hi….. musta im francis from pampangga. hilig ko talaga ang pagluluto magmula pa ng bata ako. kase lagi kaya ko nakahiligan ang pagluluto ay nanunuod ako sa tuwing magluluto na ang aking INA. she say that. “my son you i want you to all memorize all the recipes na itinuro ko sayo kase pag matanda kana ikaw na ang magluluto para sakin ng tatay mo. that word that my mom say to me. it planted in my heart ang mind…. masaya ako sa tuwing ako amg magluluto sa kusina kahit maraming palpak minsan may mother encoreage me to stang up ang not to be a looser…. masaya ako sa tuwing sasama ako sa mga fista ng aming baryo. lagi akong isinasama ng aking ina. kaya natandaan ko na ang paikotikot sa lb ng kusina. mapa ulam.miryenda. at anupa kaya…. minsan i cook for my teacher and thay say its good naman pala eh….. it makes me feel ok and happy…. kaya hanggang ngayon nais kong matututo ng mga bagong paran ng pagluluto…. its my pride to present to that sime day i will become a chep of our King of King and Lord of lords, that is my dream….. it is the Lord God i will serve with all of my strent. salamat and God Bless
