thanks for this very informative post. i live in the bahamas and have a large (20+year old) sapodilla tree in my back yard. i am trying to learn the best way to prune it, as the branches seem very congested, and when there is fruit on the tree, it absolutely VIBRATES with the sound of wasps. i was thinking if the tree were less congested, fewer fruit would go bad on the branch, and not attract so many wasps. does anyone have any suggestions?
