please po publish some features on pest that attacks the nuts… can we identify those pest that eat the nutshells and eat the nuts inside…when the peanuts are harvested, damaged can be seen…some nutshells are empty and there is a hole at one end.

@Richard, nasubukan mo na bang gawing binhi yung maning binibenta sa palengke? make sure lang na magulang yung binibenta. try mo rin mag-punta sa Manila Seedling Bank along EDSA cor quezon ave.

Can I possibly request for peanut growers/suppliers? We are into peanut processing business and we get our peanuts from the local market. Some sellers say that it is from China and some can’t even tell us kung saan po talaga nanggaling. We’ve been looking for a supplier and would appreciate if we can find one. Since merong peanut scare, we want to be sure sa pinanggagalingan ng aming peanuts.

I read that fertilizers (nitrogen in particular) are not necessary if legume inoculant (rhizobium) is used. In fact, they advise not to apply nitrogen.
