Live bearers, i.e. swordtails, mollies, platies and guppies, are very easy to breed, and is suitable even for beginers. They will breed even in glass aquaria. However, to mass produce them, a bigger tank like a cement tank measuring about 1.5mx3mx0.3m will be suitable. this should be fitted with an aeration system, water supply and drainage system. Good luck!

A wide species of ornamental fishes will go well with goldfishes. Just make sure that they are docile ones like livebearers, angels, some barbs, hammerheads etc. Cichlids are definitely a no no.

engel,

Go to mypalhs.com, there is a forum section there that is all about guppies. You will be able to contact many breeders and hobbyists of freshwater fishes there. You can learn more about fishkeeping and breeding from the site.

I have several types of goldfish. Black Moor, Celestial Eye, Comet, Common, Oranda, and Shubunkins. And i also have 2 apple snails. My question is: Is there any other tankmates or fishes that is compatiable living with goldfish beside algae eaters, dojos, or snails?

Depending on the type os fish, deep wells are not necessarily the best source of water. Deep well water is usually alkaline and hard. Best for African cichids.

I highly recommend a water analysis of the water first before deciding what aquarium fishes to breed or raise.

It pays to know the original biotope of the fish in order to prevent major casualties.
