Net Profit 153,500.00 monthly
Sales = 91,000
Net profit 62,500.00 monthly, 64,000 monthly not bad pa rin di ba? Of course habang dumadami ang bottles produced at customer you may need to employ one more driver to accommodate the delivery.
C. Important Requirements:
- 25sq meters of space
- Good source of water. Total Dissolved Solids must be below 500ppm. Meron ako tester na ginagamit to know ang TDS ng tubig. Above this TDS (500ppm) baka the quality ng product ay maapektuhan.
D. Papers required for acquiring the License for your WRS
- DTI
- Barangay permit
- Mayor’s permit
- Sanitary permit from Municipality or DOH
E. Suggestions:
E1. Location
- You do not need to rent spacious place at along highway or road dahil tataas lang ang operating cost mo. If you have 25sqmeter sa bahay mo that will be enough. Or if you will rent naman siguro maximum take a place that would cost from 5000 to 10,000 maximum at dapat meron agreement for 5 years at least.
- If you are inside a well populated subdivision, very good because from the subdivision itsel you can easily earn 2 to 4k sales per day. At matipid pa sa gasolina.
- You do not need to be along the highway dahil 90percent of your sales will be home delivery.
E2: Equipments.
- Actually you are saving if you will get higher capacity of Reverse Osmosis purification unit. You need to run the system half of the time(12hrs. Only) to produce 1000 gallons. Anyway, yung equipments naman ay madali i-upgrade.
- If you can afford, get the fully automatic system. Just switch it on at it will automatically start and stop when empty at full na ang mga tangke.
E3: Delivery
You should have an idea kung saan ang maging market mo. Kung subdivision lang..motorcycle na lang ang biling mo dahil it can carry 25 bottles din at matipid sa gasolina. In our case P500 full tank every 8-10days. Noong jeep ang gamit namin it is P100 per day. Some uses padyak lang. Kung posible sa lugar niyo why not.
Contract : others will have a contract with motorcycle drivers…P5 per gallon commission para ideliver ang tubig.
I design, supply and install water refilling station. Just do not forget to let me quote at least
when you come to a point of really starting a business.
Thank you again and hope to hear from you soon.
Good luck and God Bless,

hi! can u elaborate on how can i get 100 or more bottles sales per day, the number of households in my area runs to 50 maximum.. and they are using tap water.
Waterboy Says: 10/11/2006 04:03:00 PM
let’s be realistic naman sa computation ng operating expense mo. 3500 for water expense? bahay nga namin pang c.r. lang at pang laba umaabot na ng 4t ano pa kaya 5000 gallon a day na production?
2nd you are producing 100-200 bottles a day and you need only 1 refiller and 1 driver? papatayin mo ba yung mga staff mo? at nag bigay ka pa ng computation na 24 hours production time ano yun 24 hours mo patatakbuhin yung procon mo? tapos 1/2 hp aksayado sa kuryente yan. tsaka kung 24 hours and production time mo, pano yung backwashing time ng mga frp tank mo?
you said you want to help. don’t exaggerate!

I own a water station using my own name which is running for almost 4 months from now. speaking from my own experience, putting a business of this type needs a lot of time, patience and continous research but to tell you frankly it is very rewarding when it comes to the PESO Figures. You will spend as in SPEND from construction of store to consumables and inventory of bottles, if you have lesser bottles the lesser your chance to hit the GPD Capacity. GPD refers to Gallons Per Day, meaning your machine will process for 24 hrs non stop, but in reality the ideal operation would be 12hrs. The profit computation given by the Suppliers is based on the capacity of your machine, provided that you hit your volume say 1000 gpd. That is 200 containers per day. each container cost 120 pesos and you would have at least 500-600 containers in your inventory to run for a week if you will go the 1000 gpd. You need dealers to sell your product offering them with the promo of 10+1 with an average cost of 25/container. You have to be ready with the Pang ABONO when you’re not hitting your target but all of this are challenges that you have to take BE A RISK TAKER NO RISK NO SUCCESS, I have my own share of frustrations but patience keeps me going, because i know this this bring out the best in me. There is no OVERNIGHT SUCCESS if the process is in your system then there’s nothing to worry about. I have loaned everything from the bank as in every single peso. I have talked to suppliers and do researches until i come out with the decision to proceed. I have obtained a package of 3000gpd 21 stages. 50% down and 50% payable in 3yrs 0% interest. Bottles and Consumble Suppliers gave me 30 days terms. I really do have a good package and i know that the store can pay for all the debt that why i go for it. Today it has been self liquidating and has a lesser pressure on my side compared 2mos ago. Stand Alone na ika nga. If you need any queries you can e-mail me at holycow@goowy.com

lhyn Says: 1/06/2007 04:57:00 PM
hi! i just want to clear some information regarding the potential income of the water refilling, the 1000 gal per day capacity of the equipment is based on a 24 hour continous operation of the machine, but we do not operate the water store for 24 hours, we do it for only 8 hours or the most 12 hours,so the figure you gave about the potential income is kinda bloated, lets be realistic about this matter, yes water refilling is very profitable business only if you know how to market it. Im in the water business for 8 years now, we fabricate water refilling equipment, we sell blow moulding machine or the PET bottle maker, the kind of bottle that we use in water, we also fabricate bottling equipment, the kind of machine that we use to produce the bottled water like absolute or summit. If you need more information you can contact me at abc81770@yahoo.com
Eu-Leh Says: 1/06/2007 06:25:00 PM

Hi! I am richard enriquez. I am sorry for not answering your querries because I just now have seen this site.
First, let me thank eu-leh for promoting my website. It was really a big help.
Secondly, I do not wish to mislead or have any intention of exaggerating things. The figures given are based from my actual performance during my 1 yrs 6 months of operation.
To clarify:
24 hours ??? R.O. membranes are rated on GPD gallons per day which means 24 hours. So just to give you an idea of how much is the maximum production, I hten used 24hrs for calculation. As far as I remember, I have run my system for 16hours straight because my flowrate that time is 0.5gpm. Now (after I upgrade mys system) to fill my 500gallons tank, my system runs only for 4 hours. In average my system runs 10hours daily.
P3500 water bill. Yes, this maybe low because we are using water from our subdivision which is P9.00 per cubic meter only.
1 refiller and 1 driver…Yes we started with that small staff only and from time to time I give a hand to meet our delivery schedule. But not after 3 years, I have 3drivers and 1 refiller.
Again let me say I do not wish to mislead people or exaggerate. Anyway, thank you and I hope that you can visit my website at
http://raenriquez.tripod.com I have new offers, information which may be of interest to you.
God bless.

Anonymous Says: 8/05/2007 07:05:00 PM
sa mga nagtatanong about stages.. as far as i know pagbumili ka ng residential RO sa US meron 3/4/5/6 stages depende lng sa brand pero ang filling station equipment walang stages, process units ang specified e.g. multimedia/GAC/IEX/RO/UV/O3/Degas etc..at yung mga 1000gpd/1500gpd eh classified as residential RO lng for whole house, ang 3000-9000gpd eh light commercial applications..
Anonymous Says: 8/05/2007 07:19:00 PM

i own a water station in carmona cavite. i am also a water treatment contractor.
i dont want to question the credibility of water treatment contractors making water station but all potential buyers should beware and do research about the set-up, equipment specs and design to buy.
the technology is unlike what is being advertised here where one -design-fits-all. the equipment and final design depends on the feedwater to be used on the system.
for the guy who has problems with the procon and rotoflow pumps, the technicians you consulted were guessing and does not know how to fix the problem.
fyi, i am also an ex-OFW and worked as water treatment engineer specializing in RO systems. if you have any questions, i will answer them truthfully. you can email me at pdios@yahoo.com or text me at 0927-3637574.

replies to some of the questions above:
from anonymous -
this is a misconception kasi, the salty wastes from water softener does not directly go to the deepwell water table. dilution with other water will reduce the amount of salt from the wastes.
also, GAC and sand filter wastes mostly contains solid deposits which when backwashed just goes to the water stream and will eventually settle.
RO systems can be designed with 75% recovery, it can further be designed such that the waste from the RO can still be used and routed to the feed side of the RO system. this means smaller feed water from deepwell is required to produce the same amount of water. NOT MOST DESIGNER KNOW HOW TO DO THIS kasi (excuse me) pero hindi lahat natuto the right way. kung baga they just copied whatever design they see from other systems they have encountered before.
be reminded that the purpose of RO is to remove contaminants from the water, RO concentrates these wastes and dumps it back again to the water source and by natural process (evaporation and rain) the water cycle goes on and on.
potential business owners of refill station beware and check the facts above before you buy or decide to construct one.
a lot of people are claiming they construct but i am not sure all of them knows what they are doing kasi nga walang regulators sa Phils about this industry.
again to all,
an informed person will be able to better decide that an ignorant one.

Just read some comments above and appreciate very much if I could share some info for those that need help. Stages in water treatment system (such as RO sysyem) are defined as the number of stages or section of the system where water passes and changes its quality or composition. Purified water from a 9- stage RO system can as good as from the 21- stage system based on water analysis. I am a water treatment contractor and have installed around 350 water stations in the Phil, Thailand and China. For your inquiry, you can email me at niloaman@yahoo.com . Thx

For those who want to start up this kind of business, you need to have time, patience and try to learn the process.
I own one and I’m on my second year already. I’d say, you need to work hard and earn those customers. Per Suki kasi kaya you need to groom them up or else somebody will! hehe
November 30th, 2007 at 1:47 am
ALso registration with the BIR is needed para mag operate. Let us all be tax conscious and pay the taxes due our government para di na mangutang ang gobyerno natin sa labas.
December 6th, 2007 at 6:15 pm
about equipment: depende sa equipment yung use ng stainless steel. for RO housing, kasi high pressure ito, stainless304 will be used. for the others, either plastic or stainless will do.
sa problems: usually if the equipment is not started-up properly, the problems will be loss of product flow or sudden high pressure across the RO. very important not to rush the start-up ng RO machine but make sure the pretreatment equipment are OK.
my contact number is 0927-3637574, my email is pdios@yahoo.com
there will be no comittment to buy from me. i can advise you on how to approach the business kasi i design and install and i have my own water station.
i hope this will help you in your decision to start this business.
God Bless Us All!!!
Mabuhay ang Pilipinas!!!

Hi there,
to those water refilling station owner na may problem like yun laging nababasagan ng procon, marami po solution dyan para makatipid, una di nyo kailangan bumili ng bago kasi may available na procon kit, pangalawa: kung ayaw nyo gumasta ng maintenance sa procon we can help you upgrade with proconless r.o. system.
pero tama po yun isang kaibigan natin…di lang siguro kbisado ng technician nyo kaya paulit ulit na nasisira yun procon. dapat mkita nya ang real cause hindi yun palit lang ng palit…masakit sa bulsa yan, i would recommend to get 3rd opinion form other technicians…hindi po ako lagi nka online dito. so dun sa mga may katanungang problema ukol sa makina, gustong magtayo or mag set-up ng water station, etc. txt or email nyo lng po ako sa 09159937417 or at equizone_enterprise@yahoo.com or sa mga kaibigan nating nag se set-up din. ok lang po na mkakuha kyo ng mga price comparison at opinion sa amin…
i’ll be waiting to your email…

Suppliers, technical services are welcome.
You can contact me @ nellycatz@gmail.com
Your assistance will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Nelly

Thanks!!!

Ask ko lang po sana kung pwede ung 21 stages without using double pass sa 678 tds (daw), deep well po ang tubig namin dito sa bacoor, cavite. Hindi po ba
magsa-suffer yung quality nung product namin.
Thanks and God Bless!!!

Mr. Tony, if you have a target location, i suggest you go to the agency na naghahawak ng mga water refilling station business esp. city health. Minsan kasi bawat lugar kanya kanya standards, pero meron regulations na talaga on putting up WRS like space requirements, and etc. Hingi ka lang sa city health or any agency na naghahawak ng WRS business sa target location mo.
My wife and I got 2 WRS here in Batangas, planned to put up sana sa San Pablo, Laguna pero hindi natuloy because of the strick regulations sa lugar. So it is best that research ka muna sa target location mo para iwas problem in the future
April 2nd, 2008 at 8:30 pm
Ms. Laura 678 ang TDS mo? ako i have a 19 stages na fully automatic machine on my 2nd WRS. Deep well din ang gamit ko, since nag open to last 2003, hindi pa ako tumataas sa 4 TDS, and to think hindi ako gumagamit nyang double pass na yan, simple machine lang po, pero never pa nasira mga equipments ko, well aside from motor which is yun kadalasan masira. i’m using a Jet Master booster pump tag 3.2k lang, until now in running condition pa, pareho lang kac sira pab bumili na mamahalin motor pag d ka marunong mag alaga nito.
April 2nd, 2008 at 11:01 pm

i think what Laura meant was that 678TDS ng fedwater. pag ro product syempre dapat less than 10 pero dapat tataas din yan over time indicating fouling of membranes. the usual brackish water membrane is rated for up to 1000 TDS. double pass RO is for industrial application like semiconductor grade water or pharmaceutical water. double pass RO will porduce low TDS water over long period of time so that Mixed Bed deionizer will last long. again, industrial ang application.
Ms. Laura, contact me sa 09273637574. WRS contractor ako and i have done projects in Cavite. i can help you make a good system even at 678 feed water TDS.
God Bless Us All!
best regards,
peter

for those who are planning to put up a water station hindi kailangan na mga kilalang water station ang kontakin nyo, grabe mahal kasi talaga almost 600k, katulad namin ang starting capital lang namin 260k ang maganda pa ung 60k magbibigay ka ng 6 pdc na 10k, actually umabot dun ng almost 500k kasi pinarenovate pa namin ung building ng mother q, pati ung 4 wheels namin na pinaayos umabot ng 50k, pati 3 wheels na binili, as in talagang naubos yung savings namin ng husband ko, 1 yr na kaming nag ooperate sabi nya sa kin sana ginamit na lang nya sa pagpapalagay ng 2nd floor ng hauz namin and hindi pa kami nagrerent ha kasi we owned the place, hindi pala ganun kadaling mag operate ng water station as in talagang hands on ka dapat saka kailangan ma PR ka eh kulang ako nun kaya hirap din kami makakuha ng client actually mas marami ang dealer namin kaysa sa residential ang nagiging sales namin 3k-4k actually dapat 5k my mga pautang lang kami saka ung discount sa mga dealers namin umaabot ng 1k, hello po mr dandreb my seminar po ba para sa ganitong biz para magkaroon po ako ng idea kung paano ko mamomonitor yung mga gallons namin almost 3oo na kasi ang nawawala sa akin pati sa sales balewala po kasi yung nakakabit na meter gallon ng equipment, saka po para sa mga staff na seminar, nagkamali lang po talaga kami na hindi muna kami gumawa ng feasibility study email add q po vimo95@yahoo.com tnx

Ms. Irene that’s the biggest problem sa WRS ko, hirap monitor ang mga gallons.
Suggestion ko lang, why not make a WRS owners eyeball/meeting to share dos and donts of WRS business. The purpose of which is to give more ideas and help WRS owners paano patakbuhin ang business nila.

2y na ako me WRS dito sa carmona. almost K pcs bote nabili ko pero almost half nun nawala na. from exp 3 to 6 months lang lifecycle ng 5gal container, but the question i ask myself is this: willing ba ako to make a P30 sale and loose my P120 container? noong una, ayaw ko so hindi ako nagbebenta sa hindi ko kakilala at pahiram lang bote. pero wala talaga way to monitor where does the container go kasi wala kang grip sa customer, kahit friend mo, kahit me agreement pa kahit me contract pa!!! minsan i get bote ng ibang WRS from my customer but i dont mind na!
i guess part na lang yan ng consumable sa business. and now, hindi ako buy bote kung wala new customer.
dapat kasi we do separate blogs for wrs owners to share tips and experiences. as for seminar, i can conduct one pero paano? saan? kelan? me dadalo ba?
i am also a WRS contractor, i have 3 ongoing wrs projects whose owners contacted me thru this blog. kaya malaki debt of gartitude ko sa site na ito and one way to pay back is to help others with problems and concerns.
my number is 0927-3637574. i can visit your WRS anytime, just provide coffee for me and my staff and we will visit you!! i dont claim to know everything but i have 25yrs experience sa ultrapure water treatment and i have my own wrs. dapat magtulungan tayo para lumago ang business at mahango tayong mga pinoy sa kahirapan!!! MABUHAY TAYONG LAHAT!
God Bless Us All!!!
pdios

April 15th, 2008 at 9:02 pm
April 16th, 2008 at 10:09 am
Pero here’s the catch, if aabot sila sa monthly sales quota nila i give them 1k each as a bonus but yun ang condition na if pahiram nila containers on less than 3 gallons kinukuha charge ko sa kanila. So far ok naman sa ngayon. Need mo lang then databse kung saan napunta mga containers mo (name, exact address, and contact number)para madali mo ma monitor.

to all wrs expert, like mr. dandreb, mr. pdios and others. why not set a meeting somewhere in alabang area (if most are from south) and have a group sharing about tips, how to, in and outs of wrs and etc. but one thing for sure, not to mention any of your existing clients. we can not tell that 1 is also from the same area and might pirate your existing clients.
is anyone here who knows supplier of spare parts of hot and cold dispensers? like hot tank, hot and cold faucet (S type), water guard with built in nozzle, lock and screw type nozzle. i only knew unique int’l in mandalayung and kariff in q.c.
thanks!
April 17th, 2008 at 9:33 am
April 17th, 2008 at 9:34 am
Sdew: pwede ko ba makuha contact info ng Kariff? sino ba mas cheaper unique or kariff?
April 17th, 2008 at 2:11 pm
PICOLO: correct! mas mahal ng kaunti yung kariff by 200 to 300. 3,900 kasi yung sa kariff (aqua blue brand). pero mas matibay yung aqua blue at mas cheaper yung kanila’ng nozzle or non-spill. yung unique (lifestream brand) para’ng celfone, madali magpalit ng model. earlier model, matibay yung mga non-spill or nozzle nila. pero now, nag iba na at ginawa pa nila’ng one piece yung non-spill or nozzle at water guard at mas mahal pa.

April 17th, 2008 at 9:02 pm
FRANCIS: kung hindi ako nagkakamali, yung supplier nyo ng wrs machine, can also do the seminar or orientation and they will be the one to give you the certification. YUN ANG PAGKAKA ALAM KO. i might be wrong.
thanks!
April 17th, 2008 at 9:09 pm
Sdew and Francis: I think kelangan ka talaga mag seminar ngayon sa UP for that certification, 4 days yan, ang nag attend sa akin yung wife ko. Don’t know ngayon if they’re strict ko that na talaga. Ok din yang seminar na yan, you will gain additional knowledge on WRS business

April 22nd, 2008 at 4:06 pm
question lang sa mga experts. is there any benefit if i will have 2 frp tank (multimedia)? one is purely quartz sand and the other is anthracite sand. my thinking is if i have this kind of setup, water going through the carbon and softener will be more cleaner.
thanks!
April 22nd, 2008 at 10:26 pm

to sdew,
April 24th, 2008 at 9:44 pm
to mr allen,
More power!!! my cel# is 09215498733.

I have done a brief survey by going around some of the water stations, some of them, maybe most of them have closed. I just can’t immagine investing on a very strong competitive market where the breathing space is marginal. Marketing can be very difficult specially sacrificing pricing issues vs quality.
Is it worth buying closed stations to revive operations. Will this be more viable than pitting up new water refilling station?
April 25th, 2008 at 7:52 am
dandreb: thanks for the comment. but what i’m trying to tell is putting another pre treatment multimedia frp tank. this one is before the r.o. so the setup would be like this: 1] multimedia frp (quartz sand) 2] multimedia frp (anthracite sand) 3] carbon frp 4] softener frp 5] 1 micron sediment filter slim 20″ 6] membrane….. etc. that’s what i’m trying to ask. if it will do good for the membrane to have an additional multimedia. in that case, source water will be clean enough before reaching the membrane. of course, after membrane and u.v. light, it will be 99.9% free of bacteria. but i’m asking is at the pre treatment.
thanks again experts!
April 28th, 2008 at 3:22 pm
sdew,
why add? do you know what is in your feed water. i always start with water analysis of the feed to know what contaminants there is and its levels. problem with sand and FRP tanks is that the strainer of the frp tanks is not fine enough to contain the sand media. what happens is that sometime fine sand particles do get pass thru it and alos carbon fines. so they become contaminants instead of filtering yung dumi ng feed mo.
u can only add so much pretreatment pero redundant na yun and will not contribute ma mas luminis pa yung water before the RO.
call or text me myabe i can help u directly sa questions mo.
my cel is 09273637574.
best regards,
pdios

hi everyone,
new player ako sa business na to. i just wanna know how does water delivery run? problema ko scheduling, 1 lang driver ng motor with side car. meron ba kayong delivery sheet, etc.
and paano nio din namomonitor sales? inventory maybe? thanks!
May 13th, 2008 at 4:09 pm
thirsty,
have a inventory first kung ano yung mga lugar ng delivery, then get their demand. If you want to monitor your sales, mag audit ka every time you close your store.
May 15th, 2008 at 3:50 pm
